It is our commitment to be available to our clients through continuous accessibility to our attorneys and staff; to empower them through education of relevant estate planning principles, and inform them of their case and appropriate issues through constant communication and updates.
ACCESSIBILITY · EDUCATION · COMMUNICATION
Our Estate Planning Practice is established on these three fundamental principles.
ACCESSIBILITY
- We offer a free initial consultation which includes a complimentary estate and tax analysis. There is no fee or obligation to inquire about your situation and how estate planning can be incorporated.
- Every client is entitled to unlimited lifetime consultations of every document we prepare for them. Subsequent clarification of the meaning, purpose, or any concern of any document will be personally addressed by an attorney free of any charge.
-
The Comprehensive Estate Planning Package is billed at a flat rate. This rate includes all of the meetings, phone calls, conferences, and work necessary to complete the estate plan.
EDUCATION
-
Throughout the entire estate planning process, we ensure that each client understands every phase, document, and technique we are implementing. Aside from accomplishing the goals of the client, We seek to make the estate planning process educational and informative as well.
- We maintain a blog and a monthly client newsletter focusing on practical and consumer-oriented estate planning information reminding clients of things they can be doing to properly maintain their estate plan, and any updates in the law that may affect their estate plans.
COMMUNICATION
- Each client receives in "Initial Consultation Packet" before our first meeting, and follow-up letter after the consultation. In fact, our standard communication policy includes sending the client six letters throughout the estate planning process (typically 2 weeks) and after, updating them on our progress.
- While a case is open, clients are free to contact the attorney on his cell phone during the preparation of their estate plan, and within reason, the attorney is available to communicate and answer any questions regarding the case.
- Whenever there is any activity on a client's case or anything that is updated in the client's file, the client is notified by e-mail, letter, or phone call. It is our standard practice to not draft "memos to file," but rather "letters to client" to keep track of file updates (no fee to the client).
